About the Role

We are looking for an organized individual to be the first point of contact for our patients at Newmarket Medical Diagnostic Center. You will play a key role in ensuring every visit starts with a welcoming experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and manage front-desk check-in and check-out
  • Schedule and confirm appointments via phone and email
  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy
  • Process referrals and coordinate with physicians
  • Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Collect patient intake forms and verify insurance information
  • Support day-to-day clinic administrative operations
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of paid work experience
  • Proficiency with scheduling and EMR software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Compassionate patient-facing demeanor
  • A team player - someone who genuinely wants to be there and is passionate about helping people
  • College or university diploma required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English & Tagalog - strongly preferred
  • Experience in a specialist clinic setting
  • Familiarity with OHIP billing processes
  • CPR / First Aid certification

Requirements
  • Valid license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • MD degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience post-residency
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
